Your About section
A clear introduction, not a list of buzzwords
Add your role, audience and work on the left. You will get an editable opening, your work, any evidence you supplied and an invitation.
No work history or results added for you. Leave evidence blank if you do not have a specific example yet.
Nothing you enter is uploaded or saved. Copy your draft before closing this tab.
A clear profile starts the conversation. Keep it moving.

Finds prospects
Describe your ideal customer to find people who fit, or let Intent Signals find them by their LinkedIn activity. You choose who to add.
Prioritizes actions
Two short lists for today, comments and DMs, every item with a reason.
Prepares drafts
Drafts use the actual post or conversation and your writing style. Extrovert checks for AI-sounding phrases before you review.
Illustration: two stacks, prospects' posts and conversations, sorted into today's priorities. Posts rise with reasons such as "One more comment, then outreach", "On your topic", "Overdue for a comment" and "Where your buyers read"; an off-topic post drops out. Conversations rise with "New role, follow up early", "Two weeks with no reply" and "Ready for a first DM"; a slow nurture waits. The result is two short lists, comments for today and DMs for today; what sinks below the line is marked "Not today".

How to write your LinkedIn About section
Say who you work with and what you do
Use a short role and a specific audience. Describe your actual work in first person, as you would explain it to a colleague.
Add evidence you can stand behind
A project, responsibility, portfolio example or result makes the introduction concrete. Put one fact on each line, or leave this field blank. The builder does not add achievements for you.
Choose the structure, then edit
Lead with your role or your audience. Show evidence in a paragraph or a bullet list. Build the draft, then refine each section in your own voice.
Check the opening and copy
Read the approximate collapsed preview, then show the full About section. Keep the finished text within 2,600 characters and copy it into your LinkedIn profile.
Good to know
- Specific beats impressive
- Name the work you actually do. A real project is more useful than an unsupported claim about being an expert, and numbers are optional.
- Give readers one next step
- Invite a message, point to a portfolio or explain which opportunities you want to discuss. Write the exact invitation you want to include.
- Nothing is saved here
- Your details and draft stay in this tab. They are not uploaded or stored. Copy the finished text before you close the page.
Frequently asked questions
What is a LinkedIn summary?
Your LinkedIn summary is the text in the About section of your profile. It explains what you do, who you work with and why someone might contact you. It is separate from the short headline beneath your name.
How does this LinkedIn summary generator work?
It uses a local template to arrange the details you provide into an opening, a description of your work, optional evidence and an optional invitation. You can choose the opening order and evidence format, then edit every section. It does not call an AI service or invent experience, metrics or achievements.
What should I put in my LinkedIn About section?
Start with your role and audience, explain your actual work, add a specific project or result if you have one, and finish with a useful next step. Keep job titles, skills and industry terms natural rather than repeating keywords.
Can I write a summary without work experience?
Yes. Use your current role as a student, learner or career changer, explain what you are studying or building, and describe a real course project, volunteer responsibility or portfolio example. You can leave evidence blank; the builder will not invent a work history.
How long can a LinkedIn About section be?
The About section allows up to 2,600 characters. This builder counts the final text, including spaces and paragraph breaks, and blocks copying if it exceeds that limit. You can shorten the editable sections without losing the draft.
Does the preview show exactly where LinkedIn hides the rest?
No. The opening preview shows approximately three lines. LinkedIn’s collapsed About view varies with the screen, font and layout, so check your profile after you paste the text. The full preview and copied summary include every section.
Is this tool free, and do I need an AI account?
It is free and needs no signup, AI account or API key. Generation runs in your browser. Your details are not uploaded or saved, so copy the draft before leaving the page.
