How to download a LinkedIn video

    Open the video post on LinkedIn. In the three-dot menu, choose “Copy link to post”.

  2. Get the video

    Paste the full post link above. If LinkedIn makes the video publicly accessible, the preview and available qualities appear.

  3. Save the MP4

    Check the preview and click Download MP4. On mobile, find the file in Downloads or the Files app.

Public, native video posts
Private posts, login-only posts and videos embedded from other platforms are not supported. LinkedIn may also block access to a public post.
Save content you can use
Download your own videos or content you have permission to save. Ask the creator before republishing or repurposing their work.

Which LinkedIn videos can I download?

The tool looks for native videos in publicly accessible LinkedIn posts. It cannot access private posts, connections-only posts or videos that require a login. LinkedIn can also restrict automated access to public posts.

How do I find the LinkedIn post URL?

Open the post on LinkedIn, click the three-dot menu and select “Copy link to post”. Paste the full linkedin.com/posts/ or linkedin.com/feed/update/ link into the tool.

Why is my download not working?

LinkedIn may require a login, block the request, or have removed the post. The post may contain an image, document or external video instead. If a video link has expired, get the video again before retrying the download.

What format and quality can I download?

When an MP4 file is available, the tool selects the highest available bitrate and lets you choose other qualities supplied by LinkedIn. Some posts only expose an HLS stream; those provide a stream URL rather than an MP4 download.

Can I download on iPhone or Android?

Yes, use the tool in your mobile browser. MP4 files normally appear in Downloads or the Files app. Where the file is saved depends on your browser settings.

Is downloading LinkedIn videos allowed?

Only save videos you own or have permission to download, and follow applicable copyright rules and LinkedIn’s terms. Public visibility does not give permission to republish someone else’s work.
