PowerIn alternatives matter when you need more from LinkedIn commenting than a steady stream of replies. For B2B sellers, the next step is often a connection request, a relevant DM or a follow-up with a prospect who has gone quiet.
Extrovert brings those steps into one prospect-led workflow. Track the people you want to reach, get comment drafts in your voice, and review suggested conversations with the context behind them. You can review comments individually, approve a batch or enable Automatic Comments for selected campaigns. The Extrovert plan starts at $49 per connected LinkedIn account per month, billed monthly, with a 10-day trial and no card required.
The shortlist below covers Extrovert, Reepl and LinkHub. Each supports LinkedIn commenting on people’s posts; they differ in what happens around that comment. This comparison covers PowerIn’s commenting software, rather than its LinkedIn-account marketplace.
1. Extrovert: connect LinkedIn comments to prospect follow-up
When your goal is to build relationships with buyers, keeping their posts, comments and conversations together makes the daily routine easier to manage. Extrovert tracks selected prospects in people campaigns and finds relevant discussions in topic campaigns. It drafts comments from the actual post, using your company context, tone and past approved comments.
PowerIn also offers creator targeting, keyword targeting and manual approval. Extrovert’s conversion argument is the prospect workflow around commenting: shared campaigns, connection and DM recommendations, smart follow-ups and Conversation Restarters.
Prioritize posts around your campaign goal
A visibility campaign and a warm-outreach campaign need different priorities. Extrovert ranks and filters posts around the campaign’s goal so you can focus your commenting time on the relationships you want to develop. The illustration shows the available prioritization strategies, rather than a promise that every post will create an opportunity.
Illustration: the posts a campaign found, sorted three ways. Newest posts, newest first: Just now, 20 min ago, 3 h ago, Yesterday. Closest to outreach, fewest comments left before outreach first: 1 left, 2 left, 3 left, 4 left. Evenly distribute, longest since your last comment first: 6 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago, Last week, Yesterday.
Newest posts
In a visibility campaign, the newest posts come first, so your comment goes up while people are still reading.
Closest to outreach
In a warm outreach campaign, the people who need only one or two more comments before you reach out come first, so you get to the first DM sooner.
Evenly distribute
In a nurturing campaign, the people you have not commented on for the longest come first, so nobody on the list is forgotten.
Review the reason for a recommended DM
Recommended DMs bring suggested conversations and their reasons into a review queue. You decide whether to send or snooze. That gives you a next step after engagement without treating every comment as permission for an immediate sales pitch.
Illustration: the DM workspace on its Recommended tab, 5 conversations due for a message today, each with its reason. Connected 2 days ago: First DM. No reply for 9 days: Follow-up. New role at their company: Restarter signal. Promised a call 2 weeks ago: Follow-up. Quiet for 3 months: Keep in touch. The first one is open, with the first DM drafted and the buttons Send and Snooze.
Restart a conversation from a real post
Conversation Restarters use a prospect’s post as context for a suggested message. You have something specific to respond to when a conversation has stalled, rather than another generic check-in. The warm LinkedIn outreach workflow shows how comments and follow-up fit into a daily routine.
Illustration: Extrovert reads the prospect's posts. hot take, thought leadership, motivation, promotion are skipped. One post, went to sf tech week, is a Restarter signal. Extrovert suggests the DM "Seen you went to SF Tech Week. How did it go?", and the prospect replies.
Comment controls remain separate from the messaging decision. Extrovert’s AI commenting supports individual review, batch approval and Automatic Comments for selected campaigns; that does not make every recommended DM an autonomous send.
The $49 monthly seat includes every feature, 250 tracked prospects, one topic and 300 monthly Credits. Prospects, topics and Credits are shared across the team. Teammates who do not connect a LinkedIn account are free. Extra tracked prospects, topics and Credit top-ups cost more. Credits pay for Lead Finder and Intent Signals, not a monthly comment allowance.
Extrovert focuses on LinkedIn. It does not replace PowerIn’s X commenting or a scheduler for publishing your own posts.
PowerIn and Extrovert compared
Both products can find posts, draft comments and support review or automation. The meaningful distinction for a sales team is how engagement connects to managing prospect relationships.
| Workflow | PowerIn | Extrovert |
|---|---|---|
| Find posts to comment on | Creator and keyword targeting | People and topic campaigns, ranked and filtered posts |
| Control comment publishing | Manual approval or automatic publishing | Individual review, batch approval or campaign automation |
| Channels | LinkedIn and X commenting | LinkedIn engagement and outreach |
| Work around the comment | Daily activity reports and tone controls | Shared prospect campaigns, recommended DMs, follow-ups and Conversation Restarters |
| Entry monthly price | Growth: $59/month | $49 per connected LinkedIn account/month |
PowerIn’s Growth plan advertises 30 comments a day, or 900 a month. Advanced is $99/month for up to 100 a day; Scale is $149/month for up to 200. These are monthly-billed plans with LinkedIn and X and unlimited connected accounts. The finite comment allowance still applies; unlimited accounts does not mean unlimited comments.
PowerIn’s manual approval, tone settings, words to avoid and sensitive-content filtering are part of its commenting controls. Review alone is therefore not the distinction between these products. Neither manual review nor a vendor’s account-safety claim guarantees freedom from LinkedIn restrictions.
Other PowerIn alternatives at a glance
| Alternative | Commenting workflow and entry pricing |
|---|---|
| Reepl | Reviewed LinkedIn reply drafts alongside content creation. Pro lists $20/month; Premium lists $30/month and adds the engagement feed. AI credits apply. |
| LinkHub | Targeted LinkedIn feeds with AI comment suggestions. Visibility lists $174 billed yearly; Opportunities lists $290 billed yearly. Optional Automation adds $20/month. |
2. Reepl: comment drafting alongside content publishing
Reepl combines a content composer, voice profiles, calendar, scheduler and analytics with a Chrome extension that drafts replies in the LinkedIn feed. You review and send the comments. Its homepage separates scheduled original posts from engagement: it says the product does not automatically like, comment, connect or message on your behalf.
- Pro lists $20/month and 4,000 monthly AI credits.
- Premium lists $30/month and 10,000 credits, with the engagement feed and X/Threads publishing.
- Credits meter AI work across tasks; they are not a published-comment quota.
Reepl’s X inbox and publishing features do not establish an equivalent to PowerIn’s automatic X replies. Its trial wording also differs between a free trial and a $1 Premium trial CTA; the signup offer needs confirmation.
3. LinkHub: targeted commenting feeds with an interaction-fed CRM
LinkHub builds feeds around prospects and creators and provides three AI comment suggestions per post. You can edit and publish from the workspace. It also includes style training, rewriting and comment-impression reporting.
The Opportunities plan adds a CRM populated from incoming interactions, built-in LinkedIn messaging and relationship tracking. Its CRM captures the interactions LinkedIn exposes; profile views and new followers are excluded. A relationship score is a prioritization cue, not proof of buying intent.
- Visibility lists $174 billed yearly; Opportunities lists $290 billed yearly.
- The displayed monthly figures are rounded annual equivalents, not month-to-month quotes.
- Automation is a separate $20/month add-on, described as commenting during presence sessions.
LinkHub is LinkedIn-focused. Its reviewed publishing and optional automation are distinct modes, and its annual base prices should not be compared directly with PowerIn’s monthly bill.
Start with a focused prospect list
To evaluate a LinkedIn sales workflow, track a small set of relevant buyers and inspect the posts and drafts before enabling automation. Check whether you can correct or skip a reply, understand why a conversation is recommended, and pick up the follow-up without reconstructing the relationship from separate tabs.
Comment volume is only one input. The practical goal is consistent engagement with the people you want to know, followed by messages that have a reason to exist. Use Extrovert’s trial to review that workflow on your own LinkedIn account.
