How LeadLetters' founder keeps LinkedIn relationships in view
Selim Uysal uses Extrovert to make commenting consistent, replace five-minute blank-page starts with 30-second edits, and give about 200 people from his own engagement history a dedicated feed.
Editing a draft takes 30 seconds. Starting from a blank box took 5 minutes, which is exactly why it kept not happening.

A writing business needs consistent conversations
At LeadLetters, founder Selim Uysal helps B2B SaaS companies with newsletters, lead magnets, email and AI-supported client acquisition. He also publishes Lead Letters, sharing what he learns about newsletters and automation.
For his own LinkedIn relationship-building, Selim wanted people to recognize his name and understand how he thinks before he sent a message. Commenting on their posts was a way to build that familiarity.
He knew the approach, but struggled to keep it going. One good week of commenting could turn into two weeks of silence. Writing each response from scratch took enough effort that it often didn't happen.
Finding the same people again was another problem. Even someone he had spoken with every week for a year could disappear from his LinkedIn feed. Past conversations were easy to lose when the feed decided what he saw next.
A draft to edit instead of an empty box
Extrovert finds posts from the people Selim cares about and prepares a comment in his voice. He then edits, improves or rewrites it before approving it.
Extrovert fixed the consistency part. It finds posts from people I care about and drafts a comment in my voice. I edit, improve, or rewrite completely, then approve. 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲.
Selim UysalFounder, LeadLetters · LinkedInSelim puts the edit at 30 seconds, compared with five minutes when he started from a blank comment box. That smaller task helped him comment consistently. He still decides what is worth saying and what can go out under his name.
Recovering about 200 relationships from his own history
Selim also built a way to bring familiar people back into view. He downloaded his LinkedIn data and used the record of comments he had left over the years to rebuild his relationship list.
He separated people whose posts he had commented on more than three times from those he had engaged with once or twice. The frequent contacts gave him a list of relationships he had already spent time building.
The first group is a real relationship list. Nobody sold it to me and nobody scraped it. I built it one comment at a time without noticing.
Selim UysalFounder, LeadLetters · LinkedInThe export supplied post IDs rather than people's names. Selim used LeadShark MCP to identify and enrich the profiles behind those posts, then loaded the results into Extrovert as curated lists. Extrovert gave those people their own feed instead of leaving them buried in the main one.
With about 200 people in the list and the workflow running, Selim had a way to follow his existing relationships using his own engagement history. He no longer had to rely on LinkedIn's main feed to bring them back.
