How Leads By Me’s founder puts his AI agent to work on LinkedIn
Kurt Warner builds outbound systems for founder-led B2B companies. With Extrovert, he added LinkedIn engagement to his own AI-agent workflow without having to build the LinkedIn tooling himself. His agent runs the process and comes to him for approvals.
And the fact that my agent can run it just with checking with me and asking for approvals is perfect.

An experienced operator behind the outreach
Kurt Warner brings more than 20 years in demand generation and revenue marketing to Leads By Me, the business he founded in 2023. Earlier in his career, as General Manager of Legacy Education Alliance’s Canadian operation, he grew the business from its start-up phase to more than $5 million in annual revenue. He also led integrated demand generation at Self Storage Profits.
Today, he helps founder-led B2B service companies turn a clear offer and a well-defined market into qualified sales conversations. Leads By Me covers prospect targeting, messaging, campaign management, reply review and handoff. Its services include fully managed LinkedIn outreach, a combined email and LinkedIn service, and self-serve guidance with reporting and AI strategist Q&A.
Kurt’s approach starts with buyer fit. He defines the ideal customer, builds relevant messaging, chooses channels around the buyer and the offer, and watches replies to see what needs to improve. Clients receive relevant conversations with context, ready for their team to take into discovery and closing.
AI agents are already part of the business
Kurt combines that marketing experience with hands-on software building. Using AI coding tools including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, he built PipelineIQ, a lead-scoring system that helps prioritize prospects around how Leads By Me qualifies accounts.
He works with a small set of AI agents: Nova and Loom on Hermes, Halo on Dots, and Aura on Muse. Aura runs his LinkedIn engagement through Extrovert, preparing comment batches for his approval.
Extrovert fits this way of working. Kurt connects his own agent through MCP, the connection that lets it use Extrovert’s LinkedIn tools. He can direct the engagement work through his agent, using Extrovert to carry it out.
I have barely actually touched the platform. So everything is happening through my agents.
Kurt WarnerFounder & Managing Director, Leads By MeLinkedIn engagement without another build project
For someone who builds his own tools, the alternative to Extrovert was more development work: figuring out how to create the LinkedIn engagement capability himself. Extrovert gave Kurt an existing system his agent could use.
It saved me a ton of time
Kurt WarnerFounder & Managing Director, Leads By MeThe time saved was time he would otherwise have spent working out how to build that functionality. He could use his agent to run engagement through Extrovert and work on the outreach process itself.
That also fits his existing toolset. Kurt uses HeyReach for LinkedIn outreach and sees the two products working together. Extrovert adds prospect engagement to that setup, so commenting and building familiarity can sit alongside his outbound campaigns.
Turning a strategy into comments and connections
Kurt put the connection to work with a specific outreach process. He took an Extrovert strategy email and gave it to his agent as a brief.
I just gave that to my agent and said, hey, we’re going to do this.
Kurt WarnerFounder & Managing Director, Leads By MeTogether, they built out the process for commenting and deciding when to move to a connection request. This brings engagement and outreach into the same sequence: interact with a prospect’s posts, then decide when to connect.
For Kurt, that makes the agent useful beyond drafting individual messages. He can give it an approach to follow and work with it on the steps, while Extrovert provides the LinkedIn engagement tools to put those steps into practice.
Kurt keeps control of the decisions
Kurt’s agent runs the workflow and checks with him for approvals. He can delegate the day-to-day operation while keeping a say in what goes out under his name.
Once a batch of comments is approved, Extrovert spaces out publication within the account’s working hours. The agent can handle the batch without Kurt having to publish each comment at the right moment. Extrovert manages the timing, including configured spacing between comments to the same person.
