How Neeraj Shah turns LinkedIn comments into repeat business

The Titan Masterminds founder uses Extrovert to keep prospect engagement and follow-up in one routine. In a ten-day SPEAR run, two past clients bought again and three new prospects joined his webinar and signed up.

I wrote one 12-word comment on a stranger's post last Tuesday. He turned into a client by Saturday.

A coaching business that depends on the next conversation

Neeraj Shah is the founder of Titan Masterminds, where he helps business owners, founders and consultants build AI and LinkedIn client-acquisition systems. He also wrote LinkedIn Growth Code. His own engagement routine needs to make room for both new buyers and people who already know his work.

Finding a relevant post, remembering the last interaction and writing a useful response all compete with running the business. An open-ended LinkedIn session makes it easy to spend the morning on people who will never become clients. Neeraj uses Extrovert to keep the list, the comments and the follow-up connected.

Start with a list worth showing up for

Neeraj chooses who to engage with himself. He separates clients and supporters, buyers he wants to warm up, people who engaged with him recently, and longer-term nurture relationships. Clients and supporters get priority, without a sales pitch attached.

His 50-name prospecting workflow gives the preparation a clear division of labour. Sales Navigator finds and saves relevant prospects. Claude helps read their profiles and recent posts, rank the list and prepare specific opening lines. Extrovert handles the daily engagement around those people, with drafts he approves or rewrites.

The list also gives follow-up context. Extrovert tracks who Neeraj has engaged with and who is responding, so a conversation does not depend on him remembering every interaction.

Teach the draft his business, then keep the human review

Neeraj gave Extrovert detailed context about his business, the people he serves and the stories it can draw on. He added separate style rules for comments and DMs, twenty comments he had written himself, prospect lists, relevant topics and a DM playbook, with learning mode enabled.

His voice rules are specific: he prefers crazy to wild, likes AWESOME, and leaves room for lowercase writing, typos and a joke. The point is to give a relevant response in his voice, rather than generic praise.

I still read every draft. I still edit. I still add the joke.

With this setup, he describes a routine of 14 minutes a day and more than 50 comments a week. He still reads the original post, edits the draft and adds his own humour before it goes out.

Two useful comments before a connection request

Neeraj warms a prospect before asking to connect. A comment responds to a specific line or idea in the person's post and gives them an easy way to reply. The connection request comes after they have seen him contribute.

Here is the sequence. Comment on two of someone's posts. Then send the request. That is it.

On his own account, he reported 109 acceptances from 171 connection requests, which he rounded to 64%. Those requests followed comments rather than arriving cold. He also reported 1,797 comments as he described the routine.

He keeps control of the target list and reviews every draft. He skips posts the tool cannot meaningfully read, resource-giveaway prompts and reposts where a draft would address the wrong person. Extrovert prepares and tracks the work; Neeraj decides whether the contribution belongs in the conversation.

Repeat purchases and webinar sign-ups in ten days

Neeraj calls his commenting approach SPEAR: short, personal comments designed to invite a response. He pairs them with DMs and uses Extrovert to track engagement and keep conversations moving. In one ten-day run, he described a daily rhythm of fifteen comments and fifteen DMs.

10 days of SPEAR got me:

→ 2 old clients came back and bought again → 3 new prospects joined my webinar and signed up → A couple thousand dollars in the pipeline → Zero new posts required

For Neeraj, the value is keeping that work manageable alongside coaching and running the business. He can see who he has engaged with, notice who is responding and take the next conversation forward.
