A comment copilot helps you write a reply. If your sales routine also depends on finding the right prospects' posts and remembering who needs a follow-up, Extrovert brings those steps into one LinkedIn workflow. It prioritizes posts, drafts comments in your voice, and suggests connections and DMs you can review before sending.
Engage AI alternatives need a clear starting point: its AI commenting extension and its Engagement Community are different products. The shortlist below focuses on comment assistance and prospect-led engagement. A community subscription that supplies reciprocal comments on your posts is a separate purchase.
Extrovert: keep comments connected to your sales conversations
For founders, account executives and sales teams, a useful replacement should help you stay present with the people who matter. Extrovert's LinkedIn workflow starts with campaigns for chosen people or topics. You get a queue of relevant posts and comment drafts, rather than having to find every opportunity in your feed.
You can review each comment, approve drafts in bulk, or automate a campaign. Connection requests, recommended DMs and follow-ups sit alongside that commenting work. The advantage is continuity: you can keep engaging with an open deal or a customer, then continue the conversation when there is a reason to message.
Edit the draft before it carries your name
Extrovert's quick edits let you give a short direction, inspect the rewritten draft and approve it. The illustration shows that review step, so you can see how to change a draft without starting over.
Illustration: a draft comment on a prospect's post; your direction, typed or spoken: "Shorter. Ask what they use today."; the draft rewritten with it, shorter, with the Approve button.
See who needs a message and why
Recommended DMs bring suggested conversations together with the reason to contact each person. You can review the draft, send it or snooze it. This keeps the next step visible after the comment, instead of leaving follow-up to memory.
Illustration: the DM workspace on its Recommended tab, 5 conversations due for a message today, each with its reason. Connected 2 days ago: First DM. No reply for 9 days: Follow-up. New role at their company: Restarter signal. Promised a call 2 weeks ago: Follow-up. Quiet for 3 months: Keep in touch. The first one is open, with the first DM drafted and the buttons Send and Snooze.
Extrovert costs $49 per LinkedIn seat per month on monthly billing. A seat includes every feature, 250 tracked prospects, one tracked topic and 300 discovery Credits a month. Those allowances are shared across the team; teammates who only review do not need a paid seat. Extra tracking capacity and Credit top-ups cost more.
The ten-day trial needs no card. Start with the prospects you already want to reach and review the first comment and DM drafts.
What are you replacing in Engage AI?
Engage AI's Chrome extension still lists AI-generated comments inside LinkedIn, adjustable tones and prompts, and a premium Second Brain feature that recalls previous comments. Its listing describes a free option and a $30/month Pro plan. The current website does not provide a clear separate copilot offer for new buyers, so that $30 figure should not be treated as a confirmed current subscription price.
Its website now leads with the Engagement Community. Members submit their own posts and manually comment on assigned posts from other members. The Individual plan is advertised at $50/month, with up to nine engagement sessions a week; Group is $250/month with unlimited client sub-accounts. A promotional code is also advertised. These are community prices, not a replacement price list for the commenting extension.
The community requires English-language content, runs scheduled sessions and does not let members limit commenters to their own industry. It has no free trial. Its money-back guarantee requires participation and no improvement in post visibility.
Extrovert can run mutual-support campaigns around peers you select. It does not supply a pooled community or promise a fixed number of incoming comments. Keep that distinction separate from the choice of software for writing and managing your own comments.
Four Engage AI alternatives for commenting
These products cover writing replies and engaging with selected people or topics. Post schedulers, data-enrichment tools and engagement pods are left out because they do not replace that core work.
| Tool | Commenting workflow |
|---|---|
| Extrovert | People/topic campaigns, drafts in your voice, review or automation, plus connections and DM follow-up |
| FlyMSG | Comment suggestions in the LinkedIn or Sales Navigator interface; you edit and post |
| Commenti | Creator and keyword targeting with comment approval or automatic posting |
| PowerIn | Creator and keyword targeting on LinkedIn and X, with manual approval available |
FlyMSG: comment assistance inside the browser
FlyMSG by Vengreso, also described as FlyEngage, generates responses to LinkedIn posts and existing comments through its browser extension. It supports LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, preset prompts, custom prompts and editing before you publish.
Vengreso explicitly says FlyMSG does not automatically post comments. You select the conversation and post the reply yourself. Its text expander and other writing tools are part of the same product.
A limited free plan is available. Growth is listed at $8.50 per user per month on monthly billing, or $5.50 per month billed annually at $66 per user. The pricing page's plan cards and comparison table disagree on some prompt allowances, so a paid plan should not be read as unlimited AI commenting.
Commenti: creator and keyword campaigns
Commenti targets profiles and keywords, then generates comments with configurable tone, length and style. It offers approval before posting or automatic posting, and advertises background operation while you are offline.
Starter is advertised at $19/month billed yearly, including 20 AI comments a day, five target accounts and two keywords. Its higher annual-billed tiers list $29/month and $49/month. The advertised 60-day free offer is limited to the first 200 users, rather than an unconditional ongoing trial.
The product's published workflow centers on commenting. A commenting allowance should not be confused with a combined connection-request, DM and follow-up workflow.
PowerIn: LinkedIn and X comment campaigns
PowerIn supports creator and keyword targeting on LinkedIn and X. Its controls include tone, language and timezone settings, word exclusions, emoji settings and manual approval. Automatic comment posting is also available.
Growth is $59/month on monthly billing, with 30 comments a day. Advanced is $99/month with 100 comments a day; Scale is $149/month with 200 comments a day. The plans advertise unlimited connected accounts and a five-day no-card trial. Unlimited accounts does not mean an unlimited comment allowance for each account.
PowerIn's two-network scope is a material difference from Extrovert's LinkedIn workflow. Daily comment volume is a different measure from how many target prospects you can track and follow up with.
Extrovert versus the Engage AI comment copilot
Engage AI already describes comment customization, previous-comment recall and prospect-related integrations. Those capabilities should not be treated as absent. Extrovert's case for a sales team is the combined daily workflow around comments, connections and DMs.
| Decision | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Finding posts to join | Extrovert runs people and topic campaigns with ranked posts. Engage AI's extension drafts in the LinkedIn comment field; its brand also documents prospect tracking. |
| Reviewing your voice | Both describe configurable comment writing. Extrovert adds quick edits and individual or bulk approval. |
| Continuing the conversation | Extrovert includes recommended DMs, smart follow-ups and conversation restarters. Engage AI's extension emphasizes commenting and previous-comment recall. |
| Budgeting | Extrovert starts at $49 per LinkedIn seat/month, billed monthly. Engage AI's current community price does not establish its standalone copilot price. |

Put the replacement to work with your own prospects
Start with one campaign and a manageable prospect list. Review whether the posts are relevant, edit drafts that need your perspective, and keep automatic posting off until the settings match your intent. Human review does not remove platform-policy, privacy or reputation risks.
Then check the follow-through. Can you see who needs a connection or message? Can you return to a conversation without reconstructing the history? Can a teammate help review the work?
Use the Extrovert trial to run that routine on your own LinkedIn account. Add the people you want to stay in touch with, inspect the first drafts and decide what you want to approve yourself.
